Joslyn Thompson (BA Econ) (Dip PT) (IIST) is a co-founder and director of One Personal Training. Joslyn started her career as a rowing coach in 1999 and now trains individuals for triathlons, marathons, weight-loss, strength, and general conditioning. Joslyn's focus on sports therapy and rehabilitation ensures that clients have no physical limitations in the goals that they set for themselves regardless of how traumatic their injury/condition. Joslyn continues to research into rehabilitation practices - with her knowledge and patience Joslyn has prevented several clients from having surgery, and or further medication. Joslyn's training and rehabilitation expertise has featured in several health and fitness magazines.
BJ Rule (BSc Exercise Science) is a co-founder and director of One Personal Training. With over 12 years training experience in both Australia and Europe BJ is one of the most highly qualified and experienced trainers in the industry. In this time he has worked with amateur and professional athletes, corporate clients, weekend warriors, city workers and just about anybody who has wanted to improve the way their body works. BJ takes a very personalised approach to his clients training where he utilises his experience to get results using the most appropriate method for the individual.
Jamie Inzani (BEng) (Dip PT/SMT) has a varied sports background ranging from football, rugby, hockey to cycling. Jamie has been weight lifting for the past 7 years and wanted to share his knowledge with others and so embarked on a career in Personal Training. Using this experience Jamie works alongside a rugby team to optimize their strength, conditioning and nutrition. He also trains individuals for weight-loss, and sports specific goals ensuring clients are at the top of their game. Jamie's approach to training is to re-educate the body to function as nature intended.
Rachael has been working as a personal trainer and sports therapist in London for the last 7 years. Rachael's sporting interests range from mountain biking to yoga and boxing. Rachael has a wide range of other interests from opera singing (check her out in Kenneth Branagh's Magic Flute) to archaeology. Her philosophy with training is that it should enhance your life - not get in the way of it, but when you feel at your best - with heaps of energy - the world is your oyster!
Michael is the Martial Arts specialist here at One Personal Training after having studied with elite athletes in Thailand and Japan in 2006. He started off playing Australian rules football and played for 10 years before transferring over to the Martial Arts arena in 2003. Michael's experience ranges from working with professional fighters to individuals with a desire to lose weight and enhance muscle tone. Michael's clients also benefit from his expertise in advanced resistance training, nutrition, and postural alignment to ensure they get optimal results during their training sessions. His patient instruction and attention to detail encourages his clients to reach their physical potential during each workout.
Marta Napierala (MA Tourism and Recreation) is a Premier Qualified Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer and Level 1 Boxing Instructor. Marta has also completed Advanced Nutrition for Weight Management and Advanced Nutrition for Physical Performance courses at Premier International Training. She has been a great outdoors enthusiast throughout her life and started mountain hiking and trekking at the age of 6. Her other sporting interests range from ice skating, rock climbing and cycling to advanced weight and resistance training. She believes an holistic approach to training and making it a lifestyle choice, leads to the best, and quickest results. Throughout her training sessions Marta will not only concentrate on correct technique and getting the most out of her clients’ workout, but also nutrition, appropriate recovery after training, stress management and correct sleep patterns.
Shalan Cameron is a highly experienced therapist from Vancouver Canada, with over seven years extensive industry experience. Originally a kinesiology student, Shalan completed a 4-year advanced massage therapy programs at West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Shalan's main treatment types are sports and deep tissue, myofascial release, therapeutic, remedial, Swedish and pregnancy massage. Shalan's experience working on all type of pathologies over the past 5 years, from headaches to post surgery rehabilitation, has also meant spending significant time treating chronic injuries and postural correction. Her experience translates into fantastic results for clients with chronic muscle tension, poor posture, headaches/TMJ, sports injuries, circulation problems, digestive problems, anxiety/depression and much more.
